Voiceover: A duo. A man and a woman. Katia Gordeeva and Sergei Grinkov. It's been two years since they've won their first World Championship. Katia was 14 and Sergei was 19 at the time. After their second win, it didn't get any easier. Here is the coach of young champions, Stanislav Leonovich.
Stanislav Leonovich: In figure skating, pairs are usually created at the junior level. We put together singles skaters. The tendency is to choose a strong not, very tall girl and a very strong boy. That's how we create a pair. Ekaterina Gordeeva and Sergei Grinkov are together for 5 years and they have not changed partners. They are from CSKA school. I think that this pair is very well matched. It's in their power to reach their potential.
